Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine and injustice when He could do something about it. But I'm afraid God might ask me the same question.

One Month ago...

We finally laid eyes on each other....

We are amazed by your love of life, your courisity, your energy, and your adorable smile.
You have been through a lot in the past 30 days, but we have fallen head over heals in love with you and your spunky little smile. We are amazed how you fit right in to our family and we know that God has bigger plans for our lives than we could ever dream for ourselves. We can't wait to watch you grow and love on you every step of the way.

This is how excited you got over the sprinklers,,, seriously, how stinkin' cute!

Great post A! Can you believe we've been with our girls a month already? And it seems like just yesterday we were complaining about SOMETHING to each other...my how far we've come!

Happy One Month Gotcha Day!!!!

I can't believe a month has gone by since we met our little girls! It feels like our little Maylie has always been with us. It's so amazing she's such a perfect fit for our family!

I feel like I've pretty much been missing in action since arriving home from China, but I think I'm finally getting back in rhythm! Steve and I are pretty much starting over but we love it! I hope and pray we can adopt again soon, as your family did!

I haven't been able to read up on blogs lately but I did find yours in my notes and I'm so glad I did! Your stories and journeling really encouraged me. What a sweet family you have. (I'm adding you to our blog favorites!)

It was a pleasure meeting you, although it was briefly, in Guangzhou.

Blessings,
Lydia

One month and I bet if feels like you've had her forever. I sometimes forget that Jasmine hasn't been with us her entire life, and when I remember my heart is in my throat thinking about her first year of life without parents. Finn is just about as cute as they get! Monica
