Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine and injustice when He could do something about it. But I'm afraid God might ask me the same question.

Any Suggestions?

We had a hyped up family movie night this past weekend and it was actually nice.  The kids are NOT  tv watchers, which is a blessing and a curse.  They are not big into any cartoony movies. My 6 yr. old daughter has yet to sit through any of the cartoon "Princess" movies.  I picked a movie that I hadn't seen since "C" was little.  Jumanji... the kids LOVED it, actually sat through the whole thing and were completely entertained, needless to say we did have a ton of snacks and buttery salted popcorn.  I think it may have been a bit too much though.  It seemed scarier than I remember?  Anyone have any good family movie suggestions...they need something that doesn't start to slowly since they are not the type to sit and watch TV normally..  I would love suggestions.  Want to try to make it a weekly or bi-weekly thing.  Thanks.

I know its a cartoon, but Incredibles is VERY entertaining...the adults find it funny and it has a lot of cartoony pow-zap sort of stuff for kiddos...and their powers are just funny. And the other one that we seem to go to over and over again is Finding Nemo...another cartoon. But Ellen Degeneris is HYSTERICAL in that movie!!

Jumangi! Loved that movie...little "C", not so much. He wouldn't sleep in his own bed for a while, but he got over it.
He loved "Bridge to Tarabithia" and the first "Narnia" movie. If you like Robin Williams, maybe you'd like "Night at the Museum".
I know how tough it can be to satistfy the "little" ones, while still entertaining the "big" kids in the family.
Keep up the good work ;-)

Some of the Fuller favorites right now are Over the Hedge & Alvin & the Chipmunks.(I think that Gabe was watched that one about 20 times since he got it for Christmas). We try to switch off and on with Family Movie night and Family Game night. One Sunday we do a movie and the other Sunday we do a game.

OK I posted this once and had a bunch of typo's. I should always look at it first before posting. Swiss Family Robinson is an oldie but a goodie. My kids and grandkids like it!!!
