One year ago today..
We finally held you in our arms, you were scared and solemn. We expected no less.
My heart was nearly ripped out watching your pain, I wish I could take it all on for you.
We had stared at your referral and update photos for months, we had only seen your solemn face and we were fully prepared for a long grieving and healing process.~1.JPG)
That little pouty lip... it get's me every time. 
You took to your Papa right away.
Especially when he brought out the Cheeri@s
I thank God for Cheeri@s on this very day.
They were salve to your broken heart.
We never expected this...that within hours,, you would start smiling and giggling and quite literally never stop.
Papa and I eyed each other in amazement all evening... we were completely unprepared for the joy that exuded from you.
And today, one year later. You are still the most JOYful little girl we have ever seen.

Oh my stinking word! I LOVE the last picture that right there is what melts my heart. I'm sure it's not always like that but I know it' taken sometime to get to that point. We miss you all so much.

Ah, sweet Finn! She was such a JOY to meet and hang out with in China and you guys too! It is still hard to imagine it has been that long ago already since we met and formed a lifelong friendship! I will never forget taking the cab to the Pearl Market with you guys and getting "in trouble" with Simon for not being in the room waiting for his phone call :)

WOW I remember how slow time seemed to pass when you were waiting for all the paper work to get through and now it has been a year. I totally love you family's story!!!
After reading along for so long, I think that it's so hard to believe that a year has gone by and I haven't even thought of the look of oure saddness that she had on her face... It's nothing but happiness in her eyes and cheeks now though!

Wow!!! Can't believe it has been a year already. I can't believe how much Finn has grown and changed since I have seen her. We need to get together real soon.
I remember that day too. Racing to my computer to see her in your arms. The same room I met my daughter in a few months later. I can't believe it's been a whole year yet I can't remember the Amy days without her. She is simply beautiful. I look forward to the day I can see those sweet dimples for myself (and give you a huge hug too). XOXO

Hey, how's your oldest doing in China? Is he still enjoying it? We found out on Sunday that two of our sons are headed back to China this summer for a 2 week language program. I'm so happy for them to have such a great opportunity and immediately thought of you and wanted to ask for any advice or suggestions you can give me. I know two weeks is nothing compared to 6 months, but still....
Oh precious one. Finn is like a living doll...so adorable and squeezable.
