Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine and injustice when He could do something about it. But I'm afraid God might ask me the same question.

Serious Summer Fun

Sometimes we tend to make a scene in simple places...We get a lot of looks and pointed fingers but mostly smiles...  we surely weren't being very conspicuous on our recent trip to Low@s... we were on a mission.  We had big plans for this weekend....
And this was what we were after....
**** DISCLAIMER, although this is what we ended up buying the first time around, we (and by we, I mean my hubby) ended up going back to the store to return this one and get the 10 ft by 100 ft plastic sheeting...this here 10 x 25 ft is for wimps :)
I say, "go big or go home" ... wait we were home, never mind.
I'm sure I will be pulling this puppy out several times this summer.  I mean seriously,  I think I had the most fun out of everyone... I even have a bruise on my bum to prove it... sorry ,  T.M.I.  for sure.
This is just one of those simple things that I have a feel like my kids are going to remember for a really long time.  I think I am going to start a "making memories" file here on the blog.  I have really been thinking and noticing a lot lately that my kids seem to remember and love the simple things we do the best.  It makes me feel better when I'm stressing all of the things we can't do for our large brood,,, to remember that they don't talk about the Disn@y trips...they talk about the times when we do things like this...make the World's largest slip 'n slide (don't burst their bubble and tell them otherwise, they were talking about calling Guin@ss and I wasn't about to stop them)
100 foot plastic sheeting, 1 garden hose, & a bottle of dish soap  ===  HOURS of fun!

LOVE IT!!! We're so gonna go get ourselves some of that sheeting.
And you are right, it is the little things they remember.

By the way, on a recent trip of our own to said home improvement store, we were asked to make our three kids get off the same type of cart as they were worried one would fall off and get hurt. We smiled, said thank you, made the kids get off, and then let them pile back on when we turned the next aisle. :)

My new brother-in-laws parents live on a lake and they have one of these that dumps you into the lake at the end. They let us take the kids over to use it last summer and they LOVED it! Love seeing the new stuff.

Hey. I noticed your website title, "Blogger: Our Family, Our Story" doesn't really reflect the content of your web-site. When writing your blog title, do you think it's best to write it for SEO or for your visitors?
This is something I've been battling with due to the fact I want great rankings but at the same time I want the best quality for my website visitors.

Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of
hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to stop hackers?

Greetings! I was interested to know if setting up a blog site such your own: http:
//www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=2101811857671451169&postID=1803830406670359455 is hard
to do for inexperienced people? I've been hoping to set up my own website for a while now but have been turned off because I've always assumed it demanded tons of work.
What do you think? Thanks!

Gday administrator, I just wanted to give you a quick heads up that your Web address:
http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=2101811857671451169&postID=1803830406670359455 is
being flagged as a possibly malicious internet site in
my internet browser internet explorer. I would highly suggest having someone look into it.
You could certainly lose a lot of site visitors due to this kind of
issue. Best of Luck.

Greetings! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if
you knew where I could find a captcha plugin for my comment form?

I'm using the same blog platform as yours and I'm having
trouble finding one? Thanks a lot!

First of all I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thanks!

as I provide credit and sources back to your webpage?
My blog site is in the very same niche as yours and my visitors would truly benefit from some of the information you present here.
Please let me know if this okay with you.
Thanks!

Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of this site. It's simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it's challenging to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say that you've
done a great job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for me
on Firefox. Excellent Blog!

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering
if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically
tweet my newest twitter updates. I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
