So am I iNsAnE? I have 5 kids and this is how I really want to decorate my house.
Moving has me obsessing over decorating.
Here are a few of the 50 some photos that inspire me.
Surely I must be nuts to want to decorate like this with 5 messy kids who are always covered in dirt...not just any dirt, red clay. I just can't seem to shake my desire for all things white.
Someone knock some sense into me! I did happen to find a hanging twin bed on Cr@ig's list last week, I can't want to hang it on our new sun porch and throw a bunch of linens on it, and hopefully come out with something like this....

I'm all about the hanging bed on the sun porch. Every time I see those photos I'm envious of those with a sun porch to hang the bed. No sun porch here. Ahhhh... As for the white, YEP-you've officially lost your marbles. WHITE? I mean, it is beautiful but with 5 yahoos and four of them being small I'm not sure you are thinking clearly. Have you been hittin' the sauce? My vote...NO! Don't do it. Someday--but that day is not today.
I have 2 words for ya, slipcovers and bleach!!!! Hehe!! I love white too but with 5 kids, 3 dogs and one cat, I am afraid, very, very afraid!! LOL! LOVE the hanging bed, btw!!
I have to agree with the rest NO WHITE! Give my mom a call and ask her about her white furniture that she bought. The grandkids had it runied in no time flat!
Considering I can't even trust my husband with white..... It is beautiful though! So jealous - a sun porch and a hanging bed...ohhhh!
It is a nice DREAM!....I do have white sofa...IKEA! $39 slipcover, i know how stinking cheap! I would do more but, with 3 kiddos here and one 'i will eat choc' and whatever else I want on your white sofa husband'....i can't do anymore WHITE!
Try white walls and splashs of colored furniture!

I'd steer clear of all white everyplace else now. Maybe in 10 years or so when the kids are bigger...
AHHH, so no one is going to give me the go ahead on the white? I know y'all are right. I have a few white slip covered sofas, I think I will have to stop there. I ( and by I, I mean my hubby ) hung the bed tonight. I'll have to take a photo soon. Thanks for all the feedback
Love that hanging twin bed! How fun (and romantic too).
Pulling off white slip covers to wash would be doable, but I would be terrified (for the way we live anyway) of permanent white stuff! It's gorgeous though! Love that look!

Crazy? Maybe, but I like your style! Would I dare to do it?? With just J, in a heart beat, with D added to the picture? Not a chance, I am not that brave;)
I also LOVE the hanging bed! Oh to have a sunporch to hang it on, I would so be lounging with a book watching the kids play (well that would be the idea anyway.. haha)!!
I say you only live once and if that is what you want go for it.
