Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine and injustice when He could do something about it. But I'm afraid God might ask me the same question.

Passing out the reindeer food
Corralling the kids just before Christmas Eve Services

Christmas Morning

Mina begged santa for a bag of Cheetos for Christmas, and he delivered!

Kobi received one of the much hyped zh*zh* pets for Christmas, she could have cared less but Mina quickly took over her toy.
About 3 minutes later Mina was screaming, the little rat had twirled up in her hair. A few tugs and a quick hair-cut and all was well.

Fishing with Uncle Mike & family the day after Christmas.
"Hey Uncle Mike, can I borrow the car"

Swimming and fishing off the john boat yesterday... the perfect warm and sunny day.

I don't know of a better way to celebrate your 2nd birthday than early morning cupcakes on the beach.
It didn't take long before the seagulls tried to crash our party. See the wing to the left of the shot. Then they started doing dive bombs toward the mini-cupcakes and the kids started to scatter.
Except Collin, he decided to share the cupcakes.
Let me tell you, the people that set up their chairs around us were thrilled with the whole flock started coming in.

Marc and I grew up in South Florida so we never thought much of all the super touristy type stuff. But yesterday when we saw this bike that seats 8, we were all over it!
The girls LOVED their front row seats of the beautiful beach and fantastic people watching.

Yes we have become tourist in our own city, it all made us a little homesick.

Playing on the beach on Dec. 23 is a gift.
Finn is loving spending time with her Aunt Jenny.
Happy Birthday baby, we love you to bits and pieces.

We have had an eventful few days here in Florida, I didn't even know where to start, so I will start where I left off with the big birthday party. All hands on deck around here.
Since the 3 youngest all have birthdays this week it was more of a reason to celebrate with family and friends while we are here. And for this Mama, a combo birthday party the week before Christmas is a no brainer.
We had cake, lots of cake.

And a pinata.
and presents.
and kids
a lot of kids
kids were everywhere.
And uncles
and best friends from high school

See how Jack gets all embarassed when everyone sings Happy Birthday...
Watch as my son learns not to listen to his uncle when he tells him to "smell the blue icing on his cake"
See how his Uncle cracks himself up! Doesn't everyone have an Uncle like this? They are the best.
