Finally Finn's Family Day Video

I have finally completed Finn's gotcha/family day video. Ohhh, how I love making these videos, it brings back so many memories and makes me miss China terribly. I may make a shortened version that people other than her Mama would actually want to watch. But seeing that it took me 6 months to whip this one together... we shall see.
p.s. i really wish my dorky face wasn't the front shot to her adorable video
p.s.s. I went ahead and posted Mina & Finn's video on the very bottom of my blog so it is always in the same spot.

  1. Awesome! Well worth the 6 month wait. I think if you shorten it the people that don't watch the full version miss out!

  6. What an awesome video!! It brought back memories from January, when we traveled, also to Gungsong Province. The picture of you having tea with Dong made me cry. Its what we did the morning of our Gotcha day. Your family is beautiful!! And I'm not her Mom but I would watch it again and again!! you inspire me to finish mine!!!

  8. A,
Great job! This inspired us to get out our videos from China and watch the memories we had too! Oh, to hear Chloe speak Chinese with her intonation-I know you remember what I"m talking about-I am SO GLAD we captured that on video!
Hopefully, we will soon take the time to start our video!

  9. I loved your video! Wish I'd had yours for inspiration when I was doing mine. My daughter climbed up on my lap and watched it so intently that it makes me wonder how much she remembers. They are so close in age that I wonder if they were buddies at Dongguan. You did a great job and I love all the music!

  12. I am sitting here crying it is sooo beautiful! We were in China at the same time you were. (You commented on my blog at our 6 month home post)I don't know if you remember but we did meet briefly in the playroom of the White Swan. I traveled with my Dad because my husband was deployed at the time. I have followed your lovely family ever since! I think you guys are awesome and you have inspired me to do a video of my time in China.

  18. Amazing video. I recognized so many things, even the guide (Simon) you had in Guangzhou was our guide there in 5/2008 with a different agency. But, when you went to Beijing...what is the story behind the locks on the Great Wall. We went to the Great Wall, but I didn't see locks and know nothing of this story. Very interested in that. csgour@yahoo.com

  19. This is my favorite video of all! Everytime, I watch it, I just end up bawling. We are picking up our son in April so we cannot wait for our turn. I wanted to ask you what program you used to edit the video? I'm a rookie but was hoping for a easy way to make a gotcha day video for our family. It won't be awesome as yours but would like one. Thanks, Cori Smith
